Fixed Fee Conveyancing, Sydney
Conveyancing by a property lawyer, on a fixed fee. Sarah Walsh’s firm quotes one fixed fee for the legal work before anything starts, whether you are buying or selling in NSW, so you know the cost upfront.
What fixed fee means here
After an initial chat about the property and what you need, you get a fixed fee quote for the legal work. That is the fee for your matter, from the contract through to settlement.
Government charges are separate from the legal fee. Transfer duty (stamp duty), for example, is paid to Revenue NSW, and Sarah handles the stamp duty application for buyers.
Selling a property
- Prepares the Contract for Sale of Land so your agent can start marketing
- Advises on the risks and negotiates terms with buyers
- Liaises with your agent and your bank
- Calculates settlement adjustments
- Settles online, pays out the funds and sends a post-settlement report
Buying a property
- Reviews the contract and explains its terms before you commit
- Negotiates terms with the vendor and advises on inspections
- Handles exchange and your stamp duty application
- Verification of Identity and liaising with your bank
- Settles online and sends a post-settlement report
Conveyancer or property lawyer?
Sarah is a solicitor, not only a conveyancer. That means the same firm can handle the purchase, the sale and the lease on the property, for either side, and can advise you on the legal risks in the contract, not just the paperwork.
She acts for first home buyers, buyers, sellers and investors, and often works alongside buyers agents.
